Possible collaborations concerning joint research projects, hosting of academic colloquia, and training of family businesses and practitioners, were discussed in an effort to broaden the footprint of the FBU across other African countries. Mr Mutura is also enrolled for a PhD (Business Management) in the Department of Business Management where he is pursuing research on digital innovation among family businesses under the supervision of Prof Venter and Prof Farrington.
